/Site Specific Help/E-Commerce How to's

All of these settings are updated in your E-commerce Module's "General Settings" area.

Cart and Checkout Settings
 
Email for Order Notification - This controls what email address your order notifications will be sent To. This email address is also used as the email address that your Customers receive the order notification from.
Enable Return Buyers - This allows your buyers to create an account and store their info. So returning to your site and purchasing is easier for them.
Upon Adding Redirect to Cart - This option will direct users to the cart as soon as they click "add to cart".
Upon Adding Throw Popup - This option will throw up a pop up window when the user clicks "Add to cart".
Popup Text - This option allows you to customize the text in the pop up window that is enabled above.
Payment Flow - This option allows you to choose in what order your customers go to the different checkout pages.
Upon Purchase Redirect To - This option allows you to direct users to a page after their purchase.
Allow Multiple Coupon Codes - This option allows multiple codes to be used at once for a single buyer.
Allow Add to Cart with CSV File - This option allows your customers to add to cart via CSV file.  (Not recommended for most sites.)
 
Wish List Settings
 
Enable Wish Lists - This setting allows your customers to create a "Wish List".  A wish list is a personal list of things you wish to get eventually. (NOTE you will need to enable the "Add to Wish List" button in your layout builder.  See more info here.  And users will need to be logged in to view the button)
Add to Wish List Without Options and Qty - When enabled this setting will add products to the wish list without options or Quantity.
Upon Adding Redirect to Wish List - This option will direct users to the Wish List as soon as they click "add to Wish List".
Upon Adding Throw Popup This option will throw up a pop up window when the user clicks "Add to Wish List".
Popup Text This option allows you to customize the text in the pop up window that is enabled above.
Already in Wish List Popup Text - This setting allows you to customize the message seen if the user adds an item that they have previously added to their Wish List.
 
Gift List Settings
 
Enable Gift Lists - This allows you to enable Gift List for your customers.  Gift lists are like a registry that users can share with others.  
Gift Lists Events - This option allows you to specify what type of Gift Lists your users can create.  Such as: "Other, Shower, Wedding Anniversary, Ring Ceremony, Housewarming, Retirement Celebration, Birthday, Christmas, Hanukkah, Easter, Baby Shower, Bachlorette Party"
 
Inventory Control
 
Enable Inventory Control - This enabled Inventory control.  Inventory control allows you to track QOH(Quantity on Hand), LT(Low Threshhold), HT (High Threshold), SQA (Suggested Quantity to Add) This is the amount you want to be notified on to order more of an item)
Handle Out-of-Stock Products - This option lets you decide what to do when your item sells out.  You can "AutoDeactivate", "Sell Anyway", or "Show Out of Stock Message".
When "Show Out of Stock" message is checked you will have the option to show an image of "Sold" or "out of stock" for that item.
Use Item List Files Attached to Products to Calculate QOH - This option is advanced and is not recommended for use with most sites.  Contact Support if you need assistance with this.
Note: This option calculates QOH as the number of lines in the file specified by a product field of type "List of Items for Sale". If there are several such fields, only the first one is used. Do not use this option if you are not sure how it works, it may affect your site performance.
 
SEO Settings
 
Generate Product Details Page Titles from - This setting will create a unique page title for each of your products based on the values chosen in the drop down lists here.
Unique List Page Titles and Meta Data - This setting enabled Unique titles and meta data for list pages. (This setting is recommended for all sites)
 
Miscelaneous Settings
 
Enable Complex Products - This setting will allow for complex product setups.  (allowing an inventory grid, where you can specify a unique sku, QOH, and price for a product option)
Product Image Alt Text is Taken from - This can be set to "none", "Name" or "Sku".
Distance Unit - This allows you to choose "miles" or "km" as your distance measurements.
 
Labels
 
These labels are what you see in your members area to identify your Categories, Products, and Fields.
