There several ways you can accept credit cards.  This answer will tell you what you will need and how to set it up.

 

First you will need a merchant account.  There are several merchants that we support.  Here is the list:

To setup an account with First Data click HERE

This payment method allows you to get information from the customer to

run a card manually (with a processing machine)

   This payment method allows you to collect info to create a PO  
 

This payment method allows you to get quote info.

 

Once you have a Merchant account you can set it up in your E-commerce module under "Payment Settings".

Each method has different requirements to set them up.  If you edit the method you wish to use you will find more detailed instructions on how to set it up on the individual payment setting method screen.

 

Also if you do not have an E-Commerce Module, you can put Paypal "buy" or "Donation" buttons on your site to accept payment through Paypal. Here is a quick video on how to do that. (click here)

 

If you have several methods to accept payment you can check and setup each method and then select the method you prefer to use at the bottom of the "payment settings" page. (See screenshot)
